NFIP is a federal government program administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The NFIP provides flood insurance to property owners, renters, and businesses to help policyholders recover faster when floodwaters recede. The FEMA manages the program (NFIP) and is delivered to the public through a network of more than 50 insurance companies and the NFIP directly. Florida Medicaid is the state and Federal partnership that provides health coverage for selected categories of people in Florida with low incomes. Its purpose is to improve the health of people who might otherwise go without medical care for themselves and their children. Call, visit, or apply and chat online.

Medicare is a medical insurance program for people over 65 and younger disabled people, and dialysis patients. Medicare offices are usually located within Social Security offices. Apply online.
