Florida Statutes mandate Emergency Management to maintain a voluntary registry of persons who will need assistance during emergency evacuations. Records relating to the registration of disabled citizens are exempt from the Provisions of F.S. 119.07(1) Public Records Law (info is kept private).
Register if you need electricity to operate medical equipment, need transport services to evacuate, or need help getting medication. The statewide registry provides first responders with valuable information in disasters or other emergencies. Register at the state or local level.
